Rates and Terms

The above prices are per week, for bookings of more than a week it is pro-rata per day, for example 4 berth is £395 per week divided by seven days = £56.42 per day.

The minimum hire period on all our campervans is one week.

Easter, Christmas and New Year are at Season 2 prices.

Christmas and New Year have a minimum booking period of 10 days.

Insurance
All of the above prices are inclusive of insurance for one driver with a clean UK driving licence. European Insurance is just £7.50 per day (the cheapest in the UK)

Mileage
All of our motorhomes have a limit of 200 miles per day with a total of 1400 miles a week, which is more than you will ever need because from the very top of the UK to the very bottom is only 800 miles!!

All prices are inclusive of VAT at 15%

We are open every day except Saturday and Sunday, your camper MUST be back before 10am and collection is between 2pm and 4pm.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations
a.. A booking deposit of 20% is payable at the time of making a reservation and will be deducted from the total hire charge. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation (please see our cancellation policy). A confirmation of booking will be posted or emailed to you together with an invoice in respect of the rest of the balance of the hire charge. This invoice needs to be paid 6 weeks prior to commencement of hire. Any late payments allow Coolcampervans to cancel the booking.

Security Deposits
a.. For a hire with Coolcampervans a £750.00 credit card security deposit will be payable by you on the day of hire. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of your hire period provided that the vehicle is returned on time in a clean, complete and undamaged state. Should any damages exceed the security deposit the hirer will be responsible in settling the additional costs, similarly if the damages do not exceed the security deposit Coolcampervans will only charge for the necessary amount. A charge will be made to you for any vehicles that are returned late or damaged. If vehicles are returned past the date and specified time, hirer's render themselves liable to overtime charges of £25.00 an hour.

Restrictions of hire and insurance
a.. In order to hire one of our vehicles you must be between the ages of 25 - 70 years old. Please note drivers with an overseas licence and additional drivers, there is an additional insurance charge of approx £4.00 per day due to our insurer's Terms & Conditions. If you have convicted motoring offences there is an additional charge of £2.50 - £5.00 per offence per day due to our insurer's Terms & Conditions. All hirers must be in possession of a valid driving licence. If you or the additional driver have had an accident please inform us for insurance reasons as there may be added costs. Proof of identification plus photo identity will need to be produced prior to commencement of hire with original drivers licence including the paper counterpart with UK Licences. A second proof of address is also required i.e. recent utility bill. All drivers must be present at time of hire. For those traveling into Europe with RimorMotorhomes, there is an additional £7.50 per day charge to cover insurance & breakdown, this includes Southern Ireland. Insurance cover provided is Fully Comprehensive the excess on each vehicle is £750.00, the insurance company require your credit card details as security for the excess. They will only charge your card in the event of an accident.

Useage
a.. Our vehicles may not be used as support vehicles for any type of charity run, walk, bike ride or anything to do with a stop start situation.

Children in our vehicles
a.. Some of our Coolcampervans fleet are not fitted with rear seatbelts. We do not provide child seats or booster seats this is the sole responsibility of the hirer. All of our RimorMotorhomes brand new fleet adhere to current Seatbelt Legislation.

Travel outside the United Kingdom
a.. Only RimorMotorhomes are allowed to travel out of the United Kingdom. Under no circumstances can any of the budget Coolcampervans fleet be taken out of the United Kingdom.

Personal Travel Insurance
a.. It is the hirer's responsibility to provide their own insurance to cover personal items and belongings and personal injury in the event of an accident.

Fines & Penalties or Congestion charges
a.. The hirer shall settle all fines and penalties incurred by the hirer during the term of hire and the hirer agrees to reimburse Coolcampervans in respect of any cost and expenses incurred by Coolcampervans in recovering such fines or penalties from the hirer.

Sewerage
a.. The hirer is responsible for emptying the toilet and waste tanks prior to returning the vehicle. Failure to do so will incur a charge of £50.00.

Smoking
a.. Coolcampervans operate a strictly enforced NO SMOKING policy in all vehicles.

Pets
a.. Please ask us about our pet policy.

Breakdown/Accidents/Incidents
a.. Every effort is made by Coolcampervans to ensure the vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition prior to each and every hire. Therefore Coolcampervans dissolves any responsibility for hotel or any other consequential expenses subsequent to a breakdown. However, Coolcampervans will refund the hire charges for any complete days loss of the use of the vehicle. Coolcampervans shall be under no liability for any third party claims or damages in connection with or consequent upon, any accident or breakdown. In the event of a breakdown or accident Coolcampervans are at the disposal of the hirer 24hrs a day 7 days a week. Approval must be obtained from Coolcampervans in respect of repairs and replacements. The maximum height of your vehicle is clearly stated, any overhead damage is the responsibility of the hirer. The tyres including punctures and damage to the window screens are the hirer's responsibility. Coolcampervans will cover any mechanical faults to the base chassis of the vehicle, however, any callout charges made by the hirer for example, flat batteries, wrong fuel, lost keys etc through the fault of themselves will be the responsibility of the hirer.

Fuel/Gas/Oil
a.. A full tank of fuel will be provided with the vehicle at the start of hire and the hirer is expected to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. Fuel will be charged at £1.50 per litre if the vehicle is brought back less fuel. Please note the hirer will be liable if the incorrect fuel is used. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that oil and water levels & tyres are checked on a daily basis. A gas cylinder will be supplied at the time of hire and the cost of any refill during the hire period is refundable by Coolcampervans on proof of receipt.

Mileage
a.. For Coolcampervans, reservations for less than 2 weeks 150 miles per day and for reservations more than 2 weeks 200 miles per day. You will find that this is sufficient because the UK is only 800 miles top to bottom. Any extra miles over and above are charged at 50p per mile. For RimorMotorhomes unlimited mileage is allowed.

Hirer Co-operation
a.. The hirer agrees not to part with the possession or control of the vehicle hired and not to allow any person other than the agreed drivers to drive the vehicle, unless otherwise authorised by Coolcampervans. The hirer also agrees not to carry more passengers than the seating capacity of the vehicle and not to use the vehicle for carrying passengers or goods for hire.

Pick Up / Drop Off
a.. Collection time for the vehicle is between 2pm and 4pm on the start day of your hire. Vehicle is to be returned on last day of hire at latest 10.00am. A £25 per hour charge will be made for vehicles later than 10am. At present we are closed for hires on Saturday and Sundays & Bank Holidays. Our Opening hours are Mon - Fri 09.00am - 5.00pm. All vehicles must be collected & returned to our depot at Wilmot Service Station, 10 Morley Road, Chaddesden, Derby, DE21 4QU.

Car and Luggage Storage
a.. We offer a car and luggage storage facility but these are left at owners own risk.

Cancellation Policy
a.. More than 6 weeks before the hire equals loss of deposit only. 4 - 6 weeks prior to start of hire equals 50% loss of the total hire charge and deposit. 28 days or less equals 100% loss of the total hire charge.
